Preparing for polishing

The polishing pad moves back and forth under constant pressure and we hold it parallel to the panel. This helps avoid damaging the paint. The pad rotates, so we move it only forwards and backwards.

The car is left to dry. The paint has to be completely dry before wax is applied. Microfibre towels can be used to speed the process up. A layer of wax is then applied to the paint using high-quality automotive wax. It is worked in with circular movements across the whole car, to protect the paint from the sun.
